Ok folks I have a spear 4 pin fan conecter on my mother board all my fans are conected to the other ones and theres one free pin so 3 pin fan conections.

Can I us the free fan conection on the mother board to make a 3 pin fan conection to a 4 pin molex conection BUT I onley need the black and yellow conection to run LED strips ........will that run 2 LED strips each LED strip has 30 LEDs in it

I am no expert on this stuff, but why try to plug it into the motherboard? Can't you just get a LED strip that goes directly to MOLEX and then just connect it to a MOLEX wire and not have to use the fan slot?

Dont have a free molex plug but do have 2 x 4 pin ATX (in one braided cable) So presume I could use those presume its ATX ...two times 4 pin plugs each plug has two yello and two black cables to it

As long as the colors are right it will probably work.
