Is an AMD APU enough for CoD?

A8 or A10, the others are too weak for gaming.

Yeah get a A10 since you wan't to RECORD gameplay too. Recording takes away about 10-15 fps too.

Also you may have to turn down the anti-aliasing a bit just to make the gameplay feel smoother

Depending on the resolution you are playing at I wouldn't expect to get good FPS on ultra high settings on high resolution with just the integrated graphics. While the APU has better integrated graphics than Intel it's still integrated graphics and you are still better off with an discrete video card for better performance. If you are going to go with an APU go with an A8 or A-10.

Toms had a story on the desktop variants of the AMD APU's a couple days ago this should give you a good idea on how well they perform across a range of games at higher resolutions and at the resolution you wish to play at.

With the OP's resolution @ 1152x864 he should be able to play on high, maybe Ultra (without AA) settings without any hiccups. The problem is the recording, how much of a drain on his system is that going to cause?
