Hey community! This is my first post here at the tomshardware's forum. I am not new to computers but I am looking to buy a total system upgrade. I, knowing that I am a noobie, am going to just go off the: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261222-31-build-advice. My goal is to get a decent computer with room to upgrade in the future. Not looking to spend more then I have to but I wouldn't mind paying a extra if something is worth it.

Would like to play games (D3, Skyrim...) on a above average graphical settings. (Or higher!)

Any tips, recommendations, or suggestions are all greatly appreciated!

FX CPU's aren't very well suited for games as they will only use the first 4 cores so the FX-6 will perform the same as an FX-4 and the FX-4100 performs similarly to the Pentium G620 in games. Your best bet at this budget would be an i5-3870K. As far as graphics goes, I'd try to fit the HD 7850 in there if possible. If you can't stretch the budget that far, the HD 6850 is OK. With either of those GPU's and an overclocked Ivy Bridge i5, 450W+ is fine for the PSU. I'd grab a 520W Seasonic if possible. The Corsair CX-500 500W is good too though.

I assume you mean i5 3570k?

Anyway, I would go i5 3570k+GTX 670 (Around $630 combined from most sites). A good mobo is the ASRock Z77 Extreme4($110-135). The RAM is fine, so leave it in. Same goes for the Hyper EVO and the Fan. Change the PSU to the Seasonic, and you've got a build around $940. If you want to change the case, the Antec Illusion is $35 right now @ Newegg. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129066&cm_sp=Cat_Computer_Cases-_-Spotlight-_-11-129-066
