Thinking about upgrading my out of date Nvidia 9500gt graphics card in the next week.

However, want to have some opinions on cards I've saw.

Quick thoughts on these card. Also, are these Nvidia cards the way to go? or are there Radeon card, that are slightly better for the price? (Budget 100-130 British Pounds)

Nvidia 560

AMD cards tend to have a better performance for the price than Nvidia however Nvidia ones tend to be better in gaming.
If the ones you linked are your only choices I'd go for the 560

For those budget, Radeon Do a better ;).

I recommend these:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-Radeon-11179-17-21G-HD6870-Graphics/dp/B0065CK9EY/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1333520993&sr=1-2
http://www.amazon.co.uk/ATI-RADEON-6870-900M-MINIDP/dp/B005QB65NE/ref=sr_1_9?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1333520993&sr=1-9

Why Radeon is better? Because of the power consumption! The performance is the same, but power consumption is less in radeons.

If you could though, You can get this for a bit more:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-nVIDIA-GeForce-Graphics-Overclocked/dp/B0050MUTS6/ref=sr_1_6?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1333521156&sr=1-6

Very good price-to-performance, second best among Nvidia card (After GTX 680 maybe)

Or if those are your choices, get the Gigabyte GTX 560, it's the fastest.

to the op before you think on replacing the video card what size power supply in your pc now. if it a prefab with a low wattage unit your going to have to buy one of the low end cards for pre fab pc.
