I have a problem with my computer. I have recently purchsed a stick 256M PC133 CAS3 stick of M.Tec memory, my system previously had 2 x 128M PC133 CAS3 of Hyundai RAM. I have installed the 256M stick in slot 1, and the 2 hyundai stick in the other two slots. My computer boots up no problems, and seems to work ok. My problem is when playing some, mpeg movies the computer freezes and needs to be reset, it sounds like it is looping about 1/2 a sec. It doesn't crash on all movies, only some. These movies worked fine before i installed the new memory. I run SiSoft and did a memeory benchmark and it worked fine.

My questions are, is there a known problem with my system shown below, and is there a program which will run a test on the memory to see if it is faulty. I am currently running ME.
I am upgrading to win 2k soon, that is why i have so much memory.

These are the system specs:
AMD 750 Athlon Slot A
K7V M/B, VIA KX133, bios 1008.d or c, i can't remember
2 x 128 RAM Hyundai, PC133 CAS3 in SLOT 2 and 3
1 x 256 RAM M.Tec, PC133 CAS3, in SLOT 1
graphics aperture is set to 256M
Geforce2 GTS 32M Creative,
A USB, network card
WD HDD 20G
WD HDD 30G
Pioneer 116 DVD
Ricoh CDRr/RW, can't remember the exact model, but i don't think it will make a difference

Sorry, but you've got me now.
It might worth running Sandra to see what it says.
Alternatively, I have a memory info program, I can e-mail you (757K). If you want it, PM me with your email address.
