Hello,
I have been trying to locate a manufacturer that sells a AMD, DDR based system with the ATI All-In-Wonder card already installed. I have tried Gateway, Compaq, MicronPC, Dell websites. I even went to ATI's website for a list of manufacturers.
Thanks
Malcolm
Finally I have found two sources to buy the ATI Radeon AIW card installed. They look like to good sources. Does anyone know anything good or bad about them? They both let you do custom configurations on their site.....more than any other I have seen. If you know of others, please post
Have you consider building your own system? It would be probably be higher quality at a much cheaper cost. That is what I recommend. Since it is a video system then hard drive space and speed would be key in getting the most out of it. SCSI ideal but a IDE Raid set up could be much cheaper and virtually just as effective. Lots of fast ram would be preferred and DDR2100 is going for $60 per 256mb at Crucial.com. A fast T-Bird 1.2ghz plus ($104-$184) would be more then sufficient. PIV would also be very good in video due to SSE2 except the price to performance I don't think matches the T-Birds. A surround sound setup could also be incorporated into your ideal video computer and probably still be cheaper then buying the whole setup.
You can use the configurator for the "Ultimate" system on Motherboard Express and select an ATI AIW Radeon 32MB card.
I too am looking for a reliable brand that offers it.
Life is not a dress rehearsal. Pump up the volume!!
