"Limited Access" - ? unable to connect

Hello,

I took myb HP Mini to a friend's house, out of town. His PC works just fine. When I booted up, I could see his network in the list of available networks, but next to the network title it said, "Limited Access". There was no opportunity or place to type in my friend's network password. I was unable to get on the Internet at all. What is going on? The unit works fine at MY house (also a secure network). Thank you for your time.

You need to click on Connect before you're invited to enter his security key. The only way you will see "Limited Access" is if you try to get in without entering that or if his connection was only local anbd didn't include the Internet.
