are you using this pc for gaming? or streaming? or both? im not too familiar with the AMD Phenom II X4 840T, that might be your problem it might not be doing what you need or want. i currently have amd athlon II x4 645 its fairly good at doing what i want it to do, but i want MORE so i was thinking of getting a 965 black edition which i hear is very good for multitasking, but i wanted more gaming so im going with a 2500k and overclocking. im just trying to help as much as i can. im sure others will give you better advice.
