Is 500 watts enough power?

im considering buying -NZXT Crafted Series ATX Full Tower Steel Chassis - Phantom White

and i have a -evga geforce 550 ti 2gb
-ASUS M5A99X Evo - AM3+ - 990X - SATA 6Gbps and USB 3.0 - ATX DDR3 2133 Motherboards
-and i have the amd phenom ii x4 965
im wondering is 500 watts enough because i have that right now. i have the Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 500w Power Supply

500W would be vastly sufficient with a quality PSU.

Problem is that "quality PSU" and "CoolerMaster" rarely belong in the same sentence so your mileage may vary.

^ what he said. but i have a coolmax psu its 600 watt i believe i have had it over 4 months now no problems everything runs perfecty fine i have the 1GB edition of the 550ti

For your rig, you wouldn't need much power, so something like this should suffice :)

I use that in my Folding@Home rig which consists of a 4.5ghz 2500K and a 1ghz GTX 550ti! :D

Not sure there are any quality PSUs below $50 before rebates. Most good PSUs from the most frequently recommended PSU vendors are manufactured or designed by Seasonic.

You can try your CM first. If you run into boot-looping and random reboots, at least you know beforehand that your PSU will be the first thing to get pointed out.
