Internet Options - Colors

When using Microsoft Internet Explorer, I want the viewed web sites, on my
search page, to appear a different color, so I know what pages I've view and
what I haven't. I changed the color settings, and the accessability setting
for colors, but it doesn't seem to work. I view a web page, hit the back
button, but the color for that web page hasn't changed to my new settings.
Why won't this work. I've found it very useful in the past. Also, will it
hold on new searches, so that if the same page is display again, I know I've
already checked it out. I think Netscape used to work this way.

Couple of things...
clicking the Back button does not necessarily refresh the page. Try hitting
Refresh and see if the color changes.
In IE, go to Tools>Internet Options, click the Settings button for Temporary
Internet Files.
Put a check in "Every visit to the page". Now the Back button should also
Refresh.

If visited links still won't change color, possibly corruption in the
History folder. Delete your
History folder using the appropriate (for your OS) instructions at:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm
