I have been watching videos and reading about building a PC and I have come up with a a build and just want some help on it. I want something that can run games on at least High and be able to last a couple years before having to upgrade again.

I'm looking at a budget of between $1000 and $1200, if possible.

Here is what I came up with, I'm sure there is somethings that can be changed/improved.

I should have also added that it will probably be a couple months before I can actually buy all the parts so I have plenty of time to figure out how to get the most for the money.

That system is fine. These prices will be different by the time you are ready to by something though. Also some of those prices are a little high. I have seen that gpu card for about 50 bucks cheaper at fry's electronics. So keep shopping around.
