Hello, i am planning to upgrade to a faster CPU and and more RAM.
my current specs are
CPU: core 2 duo E5200 2.50ghz
RAM: 2gb DDR2
GPU: HIS Radeon HD 6850 1gb GDDR5
PSU: 500w
OS: Win 7 32bit

at the moment most games are laggy, and will only run on low settings, even though my card supports high settings
i do not have much money to spend, and so my budget is around about $250 max.
i have done some looking around and can definitely set something up for about this much. but would like someone to find the best they can for my setup. your help will be appreciated.

use the power supply and video card...sound like the video card may be bottle necked from the cpu. the msi z77 micro atx on sale for 80.00 on new egg. micro center has the i3-3220 for 99.00 onsale. new egg has two chips the g870 and the 2120 for under 100.00. then toss in 4 or 8g ddr-3 1600 ram and your all set.

Not a big fan of the AMD FX chips. The Deneb core processors are better for gaming. May as well get a 965BE. Don't forget to add ram and an OS to the cost of your parts. 32bit OS's should be outlawed at this point.
