Geforce GT 520 can i run gta 4

Hello,
I have about 70$ and I am going to buy Geforce GT 520(this graph. costs about 70$).Can it run GTA 4 and is there any better gaming GPU for that price?Please help.Thanks

gt 520 is a low end card, so you might not get playable frame rates unless you use lower settings. It also helps to know your pc specs. (CPU, amount of RAM, power supply wattage, etc)

Within your budget, I think this card should be sufficient for your needs. It's no high end card, but it should give your more FPS than a 520.

There is also this, which is under $70 with a rebate, and will net your a little more bang for your buck.

it can run gta4 but there are better gpu (not for gaming at your price) at that price.
gta4 is a poorly coded console port. it loves strong cpus and system ram. then comes the gfx card. check out this link:

with a radeon 6670 or a 6570 you can get good fps. a 5670 like posted above, will do too.

if you could manage $100~ you could go for a radeon 7750 - the most powerful gfx card without requiring an extra pcie power connector.
the rest depends on your full pc specs like cpu, ram, psu etc.

GTA 4 isn't a well optimized game.

The HD6670 is an okay card. If your CPU is good enough you might get Medium to Medium-Low settings in GTA4.

FYI, Saints 3 looks WAY better and has higher framerates than GTA4. It's fairly demanding on the CPU though.

The 520 and the 5450 are not going to run the game well at all.

is your pc's case slimline or standard mini tower? in case you need a low profile gfx card, i am adding a couple of low profile 6570 (better than 5450 and gt520, still within $70) cards.

the second card has 2gb vram, nearly useless for the gpu. still added that in case you don't have the 1gb version available. here's tom's gfx card hierarchy chart. 6570/5670/6670 is better than gt520 or 5450.

it's not a matter of better or worse. it's about getting good performance for your money. what are your full range of gfx cards you can buy at your location/website? if cards like 5670, 6570, 6670 are available, then those are within your requirements and price limit. if you wanna go higher, aim for a radeon 7750. afaik no low profile 7750 are available, yet.

It's DELL Optiplex 755 standard mini tower.In local store there is a few more types of GPUs (like Geforce GT 430-about 85$)but all of them are very expensive.I'll check some other stores and I'll look for 5670 or 6570.

Believe it or not, at local store in my place GPU like radeon HD 5670 is about 115$ so I think that is to much.Looks like I need more money,is it?

what are the prices of 6570 or 6670? where are you buying from? 5670 price could be high because it was replaced by 6670 and availability could is low.

I don't buy GPU's over the net.I'm from Bosnia so you probably don't know where that is.I don't know can internet stores ship GPU to my country and how much that will cost.

There are online stores in my country but everything's expensive (HD 6570 1GB-110 $ hd 5670-115$) so if you can't help can you just tell me which one is better hd 5450 1GB or gt 520 1GB?Can you reply to me today please.

both are low end. neither are good for gta4. imo you should save up some more ($100-150) and go for a 6570/6670 or better cards if you can.
between the two you keep asking, i think gt 520 should be slightly faster.
