Corsair 600t VS Cooler Master HAF XM

Hello,
I'm looking to get a new case to replace my existing one so I just wanted to ask: which is better overall? The 600t or the HAF XM? Price point is not really a big concern

Thanks in advance

More about corsair 600t cooler master
  1. The 600t. Although the XM has great features and is a nice case, the corsair is of higher quality and should be much quieter.
  2. I would pick the 600T due to the fact that I absolutely hate how the HAF series look

Though, I would personally choose something like a NZXT Switch 810.
  3. I myself have the 600t, sexiest case known to man =P

Nuuu! 550D! -fan of simplicity and elegance-

Ignore me, to each his own, right?
  5. NZXT cases are pretty good looking and I was a bit interested on the phantom but the one I have now is the Guardian 921rb (not a bad case to be honest). So judging from what you guys said I think I'll go with the 600t although the airflow on the HAF XM is pretty nice :P

Oh, and on a side note: can a 650w PSU power a gtx 660ti, an i5-3570k and about 5 fans (probably the ones that come with the 600t and two more)?
  6. I'd like to get a Silverstone Raven RV03. ;)
  7. both good cases but cooler master quality isd good on some but not all corsair is 100% quality
  8. The 600t mmmmm sexy !Lol!Either will serve you well not sure if one is better than the other you would need to decide that yourself.

you can put the 660Ti's in sli and you would still have power(although not that much)

    As for the PSU

    Quote:
Maximum Graphics Card Power (W) - 150 watts
Minimum System Power Requirement (W) - 450 watts

So, nVidia saying 600 watts for 2

Here is Guru3Ds power supply recommendation:

GeForce GTX 660 Ti - On your average system the card requires you to have a 450~500 Watt power supply unit.
GeForce GTX 660 Ti SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 700 Watt power supply unit as minimum.

If you are going to overclock GPU or processor, then we do recommend you purchase something with some more stamina.

that case makes me dizzy.it takes everything i know about computers ans turn it sideways
  13. I think I'll go with the 600t since it's more (obviously) beautiful than the HAF and I don't think I'll need that much airflow.

And thanks for the replies about the PSU, I was a little worried :P I'll just overclock the CPU and GPU just a little bit.
  14. Sounds like a good plan. Make sure your PSU is decent. I would avoid CM and go with a TX650 or HX650 to go with the 600T. Have fun.
  15. Cooler Master makes great cases t.....The Cooler Master HAF XM is the best case I have ever used..........its solid
  16. Well I like the look of my HAF XM case.

It works great with my needs.

As for the best case? Get the one that you like looking at most. All 3 do a great job cooling.
  17. I got a 600T, great for Cable management although its cooling potential is pretty bad. No fans on the GPU side unless you get the fan mesh version.
  18. Corsair 600t
