If this is for gaming, a 5450 might not be the best choice. It is VERY low end.

Anything up from a radeon 6670 will serve you well.

I just want to be able to run Bf3 on High or Medium atleast and Skyrim on ultra.

For that price you can get a radeon 6850 which is a bit faster than the 550ti!

For even more you can get a radeon 6870!

Hmm it says that ATi HD 5850's and 5870's are better than 6850's and 6870's isnt that a little backwards or is there something im missing? other than that ill go with which ever one is better as long as it isnt in the 200's or 190's because i still have to do shipping costs.

It can't power the 5850 or 5870 because it does not have enough PCIE connectors. However, it will power a 550ti. I've used a 550ti with a CX430V2 and an overclocked i5-2500k, no problems at all.

The only thing i am trying to play is Skyrim Maxed (maybe with HD textures definitley with mods) and BF3 on High or medium 25 - 60 fps so should i spend a few more and get it or just go with what i got? Oh i forgot to mention the OS is windows 7 of course and its going to be 64 bit.

I have the 550 ti, plays skyrim just fine. I turned everything up on a 22 inch 1920x1080 and its looking good.

Great! For $1000, you can build a system that runs those games on max with really high fps.
