Hey i have a nvidia GTX560TI SC FTW edition and for whatever reason i cant get my fps any higher than 30 on games that are 60+, really like to know if its my cpu limiting it or not, got an AMD phenom II x4 925 2.8ghz not overclocked to my knowledge cause i have no idea how to over clock, and i haven't touched the videocard either. Any ideas?

What game are you playing? You know, if Vsynch is turned on and it can't hit 60, it will hit 30 instead.

Some games care about your CPU more than others, so some more information from you may help us help you.

Battlefield 3 is really low, lagging and i play rs at times to, my friend has a pos radeon like..really low577 something..5776? and hes rocking 45, so at this point i think its either my cpu or my Motherboard. I have a 1200watt supply and if i use my gtx260 my hd turns off still, guessing thats a MB problem?

have you forced Anti Aliasing or other graphical effect via Nvidia Control panel? because some effect can't be forced on some games, you should keep the default values and just mess around with what you know you are doing.
