Hi, i'm in the process of choosing the components for a custom PC to be built and shipped to me (UK) and have found myself wondering; what watt power supply will i need to keep all of my kit running. Below is a list of the components in the PC:

CPU: Intel Core i7 3770k @ 3.5ghz
CPU COOLER: Xigmatek Loki SD-S963
MOBO: Asus P8z77-V LX
RAM: 16Gb Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz (4x4Gb)
HDD(s): 2x 1 TB SATA 3 HDDs (brand unknown. They fit what they have in stock. Its usually Western Digital or Seagate).
OPTICAL DRIVE: Standard DVD+RW
GRAPHICS CARD: Nvidia Geforce GTX 570 1.2gb
CASE: Zalman Z9 Plus

At the minute i have a 850w Corsair TX V2 PSU quoted on the build. The Zalman case can support up to 7 120mm fans, which i will most likely fill.

550W - 600W for current build. If you plan to SLI/xFire in the future I would opt for 750 W - 850W.

I would switch your GPU though to Radeon 7850. Performance is similar but cheaper, less heat and more power efficient.

Ugh, i have a 5870 HD at the minute and i've always seemed to get errors in games etc. that are caused by having an ATI card. I'm definately switching back to Nvidia.

The 7850 has no reports of errors IIRC.
