Hi there,

This is my very first build and I want it to offer me decent gaming experience, long lasting components and plenty of power.

I am thinking of going down the Z77 intel route. In terms of Motherboards, I am not 100% sure what to get. However, I am pretty keen on getting a 7850 Graphics Card (Maybe the overclocked version), an 120GB SSD, CPU water cooling (perhaps) and 8GB 1666 RAM (Minimum). In terms of Processor, I was thinking of getting the i5 3570K Ivy Bridge, if not, the i7 3770K (not sure which one). Also, would the Ivy Bridge be the best option for my build?

Could you guys/girls tell me what components to get from the information which I have provided.

Thanks for your help!

this is a much better build. it will max out any game out there on a 1080p monitor. in the case of you ram, 1866mhz does not have much of an advantage over 1600mhz. you wont notice any difference

A lot of people are suggesting the ASRock Extreme 4. Is not the ASRock Extreme 6 a lot better?
