Wireless is generally not as good as wired for online multiplayer but not sure if there's a noticable difference. Range and obstructions between your router and the PC can have a large impact on throughput.

IPS monitors are not as good for gaming as TN. They look better but have slower response times. I have an LED backlit TN tho and love it - colors look great to me so eye of the beholder and all that.
