Hi, I'm having a hard time choosing between GTX 560 (non Ti) and GTX 560 Ti, especially when I'll only be playing on 1400x900 resolution. Screen size/resolution above 1400x900 doesn't mean much to me, and I'm not planning getting a new monitor soon. Which one have better performance/$ when performs on 1400x900 resolution? Thanks in advance.

the 560 would be enough at that resolution for most games, but personally i would still pick the ti. it offers better price/performance in general, and will allow you to play at higher settings.

The resolution is not as much a contributor, as the details at which you will be playing at and if you are a friend of AA (Anti-aliasing).

The impact of going from Low->Ultra settings and No AA->2xAA is bigger than going from 1400x900 to 1680x1050, for example.

If you don't mind playing at Low-Medium settings, with no AA, then the 560 is fine.

If on the other hand you prefer High-Ultra game settings with AA (my preference), the VGA will take a much greater hit, so I would definitely spend the few extra dollars and get the Ti version.

Thanks a lot guys! I'm saving for the Ti then. Also, one more thing. Currently, Im using Asus M4A77TD motherboard. Will it be compatible with Asus Geforce GTX 560 Ti? Sorry I'm noobish regarding motherboard compatibilities. Thanks again.

It's compatible. The only thing you should worry about is your power supply. GTX 560 Ti requires at least 500W quality power supply unit.

My PSU is Corsair CX600. It's 600W, so it's more than enough, right?
