MEMORY: 8GB (2GBx4) DDR3/1600MHz Quad Channel Memory (ADATA Gaming Series with Heat Spreader [+16])
MOTHERBOARD: * (SLI Support) MSI X79A-GD45 Intel X79 Chipset Quad Channel DDR3 ATX Mainboard w/ UEFI BIOS, Winki 3, OC Genie II, 7.1 HD Audio, GbLAN, USB3.0, SATA-III RAID, 3 Gen3 PCIe X16 & 4 PCIe X1 [+43]
SOUND: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO

That computer is $1700?

i would change to the i5- 3570k, z77 setup.

definately change the RAM to 4gb x 2 config.

i have that exact same video card (for budget reasons) but if you are willing to spend up to 1700 (my budget was 1000), i would go with a better card, say a 670.

I agree. Go with i5-3570K and Z77. It's more than enough for gaming. Spend the money you save on a cheaper CPU on a better GPU and/or a SSD for OS and most used programs (I recommend Crucial m4).
