Hey all! This is my second build and I was hoping for some critique.

Approximate Purchase Date: ~ this month

Budget Range: $700-900 After Rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: heavy gaming (BF3, Saints Row 3, SC2, Diablo 3, Skyrim, etc)

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS, HDD (already have 1 TB 7200rpm)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com

Country: US

Parts Preferences: ATI/AMD GPU, Intel CPU

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: The smaller and quieter the better. Moving down from a mid-tower. Also, would love to play everything current/near-term at very-high/ultra at 1920x1080.

Here's a sample build I made and put into a wish list:

Thanks for your help!

Interesting site, I'll use this to build/tweak my system!

Hmm. I'm not too attached to ATI and the 670 looks so ridiculously good...

Also, what kind of PSU do you reckon? I was probably gonna go for a decent 500-600W.

a good one is the xfx core 650w. but it is kinda expensive in the states right now. so then i would get the seasonic M12II 620w. its on sale at newegg for 89.99 with free shipping. the xfx is still made by seasonic. seasonic has the best power supplies

Just got the EVGA 670 (FTW edition from newegg)! Ordering the rest in a little bit.

D'you think the 3550 is worth it over 2500K? I guess since I'm not overclocking and since one of em is a generation newer, the decision's clear...

Pretty excited for this!
