Oct 2, 2012, 4:50 AM
- Dell Studio XPS 8100 x64
- Intel Core i7 CPU 860 @ 2.80 GHz, 8.0GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series
I'd like to upgrade my video card to a
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
and I don't know if my PSU can handle the upgrade.
Will there by any compatibility issues when I get it?
Thank you in advance.

there shouldnt be a problem as long as the psu is around 500w (which dell doesnt always provide that headroom)

Your power supply is only a 350 watt unit, suggest you upgrade to 500 to 600 watt good quality unit, read power supply reviews on hardwaresecrets.com , they do their own testing!
