Good Day! Is it true that when you open the computer & the lights turn on in the keyboard (num lock, caps lock & scroll lock), cpu is good & not defective?

  1. Assuming that the only way you can get said lights on when you lift the lid is by closing the lid when the machine is running, then yes, a working CPU would be required to allow the laptop to wake from sleep... Actually the CPU is the least likely component to fail, and I suspect there are better diagnostic tools than lifting the lid...
  2. Thanks
