Good Day! Is it true that when you open the computer & the lights turn on in the keyboard (num lock, caps lock & scroll lock), cpu is good & not defective?

Assuming that the only way you can get said lights on when you lift the lid is by closing the lid when the machine is running, then yes, a working CPU would be required to allow the laptop to wake from sleep... Actually the CPU is the least likely component to fail, and I suspect there are better diagnostic tools than lifting the lid...
