I will be getting a computer in about a month or two and i have already figured out everything that i need except the case , i will be using it for gaming. I was thinking of either the corsair 500r or the haf 912 advance .
From what i know the 500r comes with a 3speed fan controller , a led switch and 3 x 120mm fan and a 200mm fan while the Haf 912 advance comes with a 200mm fan and a 120 at the back . The 500r do come with more stuff but isit worth the extra cash ? And which case do you think is generally better ? Or should i go with a cheaper case like a corsair 300r ?
why do you say that the 500r is overprice ? the r4 seems okay but it looks like alittle too wide to me .
I guess because for $20 more you could get much bigger case and i don't like the - Flexing on HDD trays. It feels cheaply built in some areas makes me think they try to cut corners other than that i think it's a top notch case + Good thermal performance + Good cable management options + 4 cooling fans pre-installed + Fan control and LED switch
i personally like the flexing drive cages. only harp is that installing ssds were a total pain since they would bend inward a little when you screw them in, making my screws a bit off to the right or the left.
for hard drives, it would take you 20 secs to secure them in
