Which case will be better?

Hi guys !

I will be getting a computer in about a month or two and i have already figured out everything that i need except the case , i will be using it for gaming. I was thinking of either the corsair 500r or the haf 912 advance .

From what i know the 500r comes with a 3speed fan controller , a led switch and 3 x 120mm fan and a 200mm fan while the Haf 912 advance comes with a 200mm fan and a 120 at the back . The 500r do come with more stuff but isit worth the extra cash ? And which case do you think is generally better ? Or should i go with a cheaper case like a corsair 300r ?

Thanks !

More about which case better
  1. the antec 302 would be sufficent in most uses (49.99 at us.ncix.com)

the 500R is great but if you are on a budget, the antec 302 would be a great choice
  2. Im not really on a budget , the max i can spend on a case would be the price of the corsair 500r , i am just not sure which would be better for the price m the 500r or the haf 912 .
  3. The 500r is good as well as the Haf 912 advance so i would go with which ever you like best imo the 500r is overpriced but some disagree to each their own.
  4. id personally go for a fractal define r4 but not everyone likes silent cases.

why do you say that the 500r is overprice ? the r4 seems okay but it looks like alittle too wide to me .
  7. its not that big. the 500R is bigger.

the 500R isnt overpriced. its just not the best value sometimes

I guess because for $20 more you could get much bigger case and i don't like the - Flexing on HDD trays. It feels cheaply built in some areas makes me think they try to cut corners other than that i think it's a top notch case + Good thermal performance + Good cable management options + 4 cooling fans pre-installed + Fan control and LED switch
    :D
  9. i personally like the flexing drive cages. only harp is that installing ssds were a total pain since they would bend inward a little when you screw them in, making my screws a bit off to the right or the left.

for hard drives, it would take you 20 secs to secure them in
  10. Yeah that's why i mentioned to each their own it's for sure not a bad case just nothing i would personally buy i am more old school i like the big case with the window and bling lol.
  11. Yea , i want a case with a window too , thats why if i get the 500r i will remove the side mesh and replace it with acrylic piece .
  12. mmmm fractal define r4 ( a un helpful post but damn that case is nice!)

  14. How About The NovaTech Galaxy 3 Case?
  15. i always stick with the big brands.
  16. i personally hate how antec put holes on the side panel window. looks awful in my opinion
