Need Opinion on New Build

Making my first computer.
Please tell me if these parts will work together.
Also let me know if I am missing any crucial parts.
All of the parts are available on TigerDirect.
I am a bit of a n00b on the computer side so please post in n00b friendly language. :P
Thanks!

and we can help you better.

We need the purpose of your build and your budget.
  2. There you go.
  3. Well, I wouldn't spend that much on a case for a $1000 build.

Look at this and tell me what you think:

Wasn't sure what parts you needed. Do you need OS, monitor, kb, mouse?
  4. I already have a keyboard, mouse, and Windows 7.
About the parts you have shown me,
I do like the CD DVD writer because it is cheap
However I don't like the case because it is mid-ATX and I have heard that air flow is good for computers, thus I would prefer an ATX case.
Also, the graphics card is a little on the expensive side at $250
The other parts seem fine to me.
  5. Mid towers are perfectly fine, but look at this case:

What games are you playing? That card is one of the best for the money right now. Plus it can be overclocked to much higher performance.
  6. For that case, at that price point, wouldn't I be fine with my own case?
Sorry, not trying to sound cocky here.
As with the games I plan on playing,
    Skyrim
    Battlefield 3
    Diablo 3
    MW3

Yes, pick whatever case you like. I was doing that late last night and didn't even realize I substituted a case that was about the same price.
