DPI won't save for R.A.T.7 Please Help!

ok, so my r.a.t.7 mouse just arrived today and i began programming and all that, seeing what it could do and all. yes, i've installed the drivers and software. anyways, my problem is that when i go into the editor, change my dpi settings to where i want them and click 'apply' on the right, but then i close the editor, re-open the editor, and the dpi settings are back to the default settings. also, the sniper button is reset to default. any help is greatly appreciated! thanks guys.

It is a problem with the latest software 7.0.20.0, I have been in contact with them and the newer version 7.0.21.0 will be uploaded hopefully today. See their blog under Rat 7 drawing a blank right at the bottom are 2 people with same problem ( 1 is me) they say that new updated software is released but it is not.
