Erratic Computer Mouse

Hello,My mouse becomes erratic when I am connected to the Internet thru a Linksys hardwired connection. Turn the Linksys off or go into computer directly and all normal. Any suggestions?

I've had that same problem more than once where I lose control of my mouse. It constantly scrolls pages up and down and won't let me type anything in. I don't know what causes it, but once I resart mylaptop, the mouse goes back to functioning normally.

BTW, this happened with my non-wireless mouse and now I have a wireless one. So far it hasn't happened with the wireless one.

I have found with some mice we have at my workplace that if I use a 1-2" usb extender for wireless mice it stops such erratic motions. I have not seen a connection to the wireless network here however the computers I deal with are hard wired. If it's a wireless mouse give that a try.
