Newly built computer won't start

Hey guys, I'm a pretty big noob so please bear with me. So I just built my first computer, motherboard is an Intel Desktop Board DZ68BC. When I boot the computer, I get no beeps so I am assuming no POST, and as such BIOS isn't starting despite me having pushed the BIOS button on the motherboard. I also get nothing on the monitor either (just no DVI signal...The mother board doesn't use anything else but HDMI). When I boot, power comes on, lights are all on, and the fans all start. In addition, just as an observation, there is a row of LED's along the bottom which are all lit green, except the light labled CPU init is lit red instead. I am sure I have purchased all the right parts, and everything is compatible. I have red over my manual
