Hey guys
I recently acquired a new 6870 since I already had one I decided to crossfire the 2. Heres the problem my motherboard only supports 16x/4x. Which I did some research and it didn't seem like it would impact that much. SO i took a chance and now every time I enable crossfire my frames in games tank  is it because of 16x/4x crossfire???

I did a driver sweep 3 times and that did not fix what was going on. So at the moment I really have no idea what is going on.

Besides the horrible frame rates I can't even move fast in games without it freezing fr 1-2 seconds but that could be micro shutter not sure though. Without crossfire enabled my frame rates are way above what they are in crossfire and no freezing when moving fast either.

Heres my Specs
AMD FX 8120
2x AMD 6870(Sapphire and Asus)
8gb of G.Skill ram(Ripjaws)
ASrock 970 extreme 3
750w OCZ ZT series

Thanks I play all my games at 1920/1080 on a 21.5" display
