Wow, absolutely not.

You have a single low powered video card there and a huge power supply. You put all the money into things that won't make your gaming experience any better at all.

I really don't need that a fantastic graphics card, but want to focus on the processor and ram (for server needs plus multitasking fun). In this case, should I down the powersupply?

That's under $3500, includes a 3D monitor and a very strong GPU, with the option to add another GPU for SLI.

I think that wut I will do is go with either the first or second graphics card and see how I like it, then upgrade my computer in the future as needed (reason for the psu being high)

The build I posted gives you lots of processing power and far better graphics. Note that you would probably save about $1K just building it yourself though. That's because of the lower prices and wider selection.

2 questions, how many cores is the 3770K intel i7 and is this on cyberpowerpc, because I strongly do not want to build this myself and have no local places that can build it for me. I need the 32 gb ram too. so far thanks for compiling the list!

if this is on cyberpowerpc, can u send me a link to the configuration, if not then that is fine.

honestly i7 3770k is neck to neck with i7 3930k, with low price 3770k has 4 cores and 8 thread's that's more than enough for any stuff gaming, rendering, editing, converting etc, 16GB ram is sufficient.

Nothing over 16gb of RAM will do anything (probably more like 10 or 12 in actuality) unless youre doing things like 3D rendering and video editing.

whats the budget and main purpose of this computer? if its gamining then its not a good build. up the GPU and downgrade most everything else.

i do agree on the ivy bridge processor, uping the video card, and cutting down on the PSU.

The current system as you have configured it will NEVER PULL MORE THAN 400W. It will average around 300W while gaming.

A 550W PSU would be perfect. A 750W PSU would cover future SLI and any extras you add. A 1200W PSU does absolutely nothing for you, except perhaps operate inefficiently because of the very light load being placed on it.

Noticed my internet connection wouldn't help, so I'm deciding to get a server host, that is why I now have 16 GB of memory (extra for video editting). sure you would have noticed if you read the whole thread.

Alright, sorry. You didn't exactly specify what type of server though. Coulda been something silly like a Minecraft server that you can run on a toaster.

Just kinda looks like you're getting some stuff that you don't really need. Overclocking service, rather more expensive mobo that you're not really going to use all the features of, overkill PSU, buncha other random stuff here or there... But I guess if you're going all out, you're going all out.

Might I suggest, though, instead of SLI GTX 560 Ti's, a GTX 670. It should sliiightly outperform both of them, and it has better cooling. Two 560 Ti's is about the same price as a 670 anyway.

puts the reccomended PSU @ 940W, think a 1050W will be good whenever I feel like upgrading in future years

Ah sorry. New here. I've browsed the site frequently over the last two years so I decided to join! Also, recently ordered a laptop from CyberPower, which is why I was lurking this subsection... and when you see someone asking if they should buy a $4000 pre-built computer, you want to know what's going through their mind!

Now, back to the OP... Yeah, playing around with systems on CyberPower you could get something to suit your raging need for gaming and video editing power for $2000, and that's being generous. Don't know about your server needs though...

And you could always build yourself and save a bit of money. Plus it's fun. But considering all of the stuff you're about to be getting, maybe buying here will save you the trouble.

CyberPower actually has quite good prices on their pre-builts if you configure them correctly, they wouldn't be much more than buying equivalent parts off of Newegg. I guess they make their money off of people who opt for extra services like overclocking and warranties and such. Shipping's a bit killer though, depending where you live.

Pro tip, use the code "MYSPACE" at checkout to get an instant $30 off. A bit miniscule when you're getting a $4000 rig, but a discount nonetheless.
