you will be playing on high-ultra with some settings turned down. i would ask you tweak the power supply since that model tends to be not very efficent and unreliable. a good one is the seasonic M12II 620w. it is almost silent and is 89.99 onsale at newegg

Mine plays BF3 on ultra at 40FPS. I have:

Asus M5A78L-M/USB3
AMD Phenom II x4 965 @3.4
XFX HD 6950 1GB
CM GX650W
8GB Corsair Vengeance
320GB WD Caviar Green
Basic DVD THINGY
CM Storm Enforcer

Yeah, and it only costed £439, so not sure what that is in USD, but it's a cheap and VERY Good aming rig. :) Just helping out

Actually Tom's Hardware aint 100% accurate. As my Brothers got an I3 2100K and im running FX 4170 and there's no way that it can keep up with my FX.I actually dlded the best gaming cpu's list of july and only a high end I5 are faster and that beinging said in my country i paid R1500 for my cpu where a I3 cost around R2000 and the I5 cost around R2500.It just not worth it here. There's also another big factor to consider is win7 doesn't support the FX series thus they brought out 2 hotfixes for AMD.But im over Microsoft in anycase.I'll rather run linux than an unstable windows :D
