Am3+ system (keep or sell) or 1156 top of the line (keep or sell)

Here isy question: I work on my current build, playing modem games on max settings (witcher 2, metro 2033, mass effect 3, crysis 1/2, etc... ). I am also a designer by profession and do extensive photo editing on large raw files. I currently have an Asrock 970 extreme4, 950w psu, 8 gb of adata gamer series 2.0 ram, amd phenom 955 rev 2, GTx 460s in SLI.

No real issues, it is fast enough, overclocka pretty well, etc. For what it is, it is a higher mid range build.

Now, the other day on eBay I purchased an Msi p55-g85 board. The top end 1156 board. It came with 8 gb of gskill3 ram and 2 old geforce cards for only 75. All brand new sealed. I then found an i5 750 for 90 and got it.

I really don't know why I bought this stuff. I just couldn't resist. Literally. Now I don't know what to do? Do I invest more and get another case, PSU (I have an extra 650 watt at home) and build the 1156? Will it perform much better then my amd? Do I canibalize the amd and put it's mobo to rest until pile driver comes out? Or do I just sell off either one for part or as an entire build.

I know this is like a long essay, but I just wanted to get this out there for discussion. Thanks. Also, I am Not rich, so dropping even a few hundred is really not somthing I want to consider, unless there was some sort of amazing return I would be able to get from it. Thanks everyone, this is my first post after reading posts from Tom's for YEARS.
