Recommendations for new gpu: XP, HP d4600y, Intel E6600, RAID 0 7200rpm, 2GB PC5

I want advice upgrading GPU in HP d4600y (from GeForce 7500LE), keeping XP os, adding PSU / diimms, etc but not getting overkill that won't be compatible or able to use fully its capqabilities, thanks

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming TOTAL WAR: ROME ,MEDIEVAL2, KINGDOMS; CALL OF DUTY 4, SOLDIER OF FORTUNE I & II. Would also like to be able to use old game European Air War if possible. Nothing cutting edge, but MED 2 is crahing and temp at 92 C. ( 72 C idle)

I think if you update your PSU to either a Corsair, Antec, Seasonic, or XFX brands of 400w's or higher then I would say a 6850 would be just what you need. Anything bigger then you should upgrade your CPU.
