Hey This will be my first build. Just asking if there any better prices for the same or better performance for the hardware that I'm going to buy. I also want to make sure that everything is compatible with each other so i don't buy the wrong parts, and if they aren't compatible can you tell me how to make sure they are. for the ram i look for one from crusial or vengeance lp ram. it fit better under most cpu heat sinks. on the mb if your going to use one find card a mb like that one is fine. check to see if the mb pci video is 16x 8x 8x or 16x and the other pci slot 4x.

Looks good.
Hereare some thoughts:

1) If you need a wireless adapter, buy a stronger add in card with an antenna.

2) A surge protector does not do much. Why not do it right and buy a UPS?
That will give you surge protection, and will also ride you through power surges and dips.
I think APC makes the best. They also offer a free app called "power Chute" that will monitor the ups, keep statistics, and shut your pc down if the battery reserve starts getting low.
Use their calculator to see what you need. 5 minutes of run time should be sufficient.

3) Low profile aries series ram costs no more and will avoid any possible interference with the hyper212.

4) Take the time now to download and read, cover to cover the case and motherboard manuals. Many questions will be answered.
