Need CPU, RAM, GPU, MOBO ~ $500

i was thinking :
i5 3450 = 149.99
BIOSTAR TZ77B=99.99
Vengeance 4GB (2 x 2GB)=29.99
ZOTAC AMP! ZT-50302-10M GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi)=189

total = ~470

Is it worth getting a 7850 ? my budget can go till $520.

I want to be able to play latest games at 1920x1080. I have the other components. thank you
Will be buying in 2 to 4 weeks.

  1. pls help me out here
  2. First and foremost, get 8GB of memory. 4GB will cause your system to page like mad, which will slow everything down. 8GB is more than enough for years to come.

    As far as the video cards, the 7850 has a nice lead in most games.

    Also, one of the reviews on Newegg for that motherboard specifically lists the 3450 as having compatibility problems. I'd go with a board from one of the more reputable brands like Gigabyte, ASUS or ASRock.

    4GB is plenty for gaming, but it's cheap so might as well go 8GB.

    Personally I would never recommend Biostar. If your not overclocking and your not running xfire/sli, why Z77? You could go H77 and save money.
  4. can you suggest some H77 board for my build please?
  5. can i be sure that this will support i5 - 3450 ? because i will be taking it to india and cant return it to newegg
  6. Yes, H77 supports all IVB CPUs.
