if it supports the cpu then yes

must be the same socket type and be supported by the bios

Well, since i don;t have mind reading powers (yet), it would be very helpful if you could mention your current processor's name, and the new mobo's details too :)

im currently using i7 2600 proccesor with gigabyte h61m-ds2-b3 mother board.. i think i wanna change to ASUS P8P67 PRO REV 3.1 motherboard . . .so . . yeah :p

yes the ASUS P8P67 PRO REV 3.1 supports a i7 2600
