Pentium G2120.?

AFAIK, the G2120 is currently the fastest sub-$100 CPU from Intel. If you are somewhat serious about video editing, you might want to step up to at least i3-3220 or maybe i5-3330/3350P.

Before buying the motherboard, you might want to double-check that it comes preloaded with a BIOS version that supports those recently released chips.

No, just some low budget youtube stuff. Do you think the 2120 is good enough and won't take over an hour and a half to render and won't have much lag or bottleneck games?

If you do only lightweight gaming and are patient enough to wait an hour for video transcode and rendering then yes, you should be able to make-do with a G2120.

It would depend on the game. For example, most games will be fine with an i3, but we have BF3 MP and a few others that would be far better with a high end CPU such as an i5.

I can just go do other stuff when it renders, i don't really mind too much.. But how much better would an i3 3220 be? and tf2, half life, HL3 when it comes out(never), portal, Amnesia, L4D2, Minecraft, Binding of Issac and any other game thats on sale. ill probably get BF3 eventually. Is the i3 worth the 30$ extra?

Yes, definitely.

There was a thread on this site a while ago that compared an i5 with 2 core disabled (no HT, so essentially an LGA1155 Pentium) along with an i3 2120. The 2120 absolutely smoked when it came to BF3 compared with the Pseudo-Pentium.

I just noticed the i3 compared on that thread also has the numbers "2120"   Just keep in mind when I mentioned 2120 in my post above, I was referring to the i3-2120, not G2120 (I'm sure you're aware, just adding that in so there aren't any mix-ups).
