Digital voice service (VOIP)

Hello,
Currently I have a cable modem with phone line attached through which i have it plugged into a phone jack to allow all the phones in the house to work via the internet for my digital voice service. I bought a new cable modem without a phone line connection. Is there a way to still get my digital voice service through a router or some adapter?

No, you must get a modem from your cable provider (or get a list of approved modems) that is compatible with their VOIP system.
