I m getting full ver. of Win XP Pro can I copy that over win 98. So I can keep my software?

No, not by the standard means.... it will ask you about possibly dual booting, but not copying over your old OS. There may be a way, I just don't know what it is tho...

yes, of course.
you can update your old win98 system with WinXP but you have to run the winXP compatibility tool before to know what win98 drivers,peripherals,applications could be incompatible with.


if you know you don't know, the way could be more easy.
