Ok, my case is a "300W ATX form-factor", that's all I know right now. Does that implie that I have a 300W PSU? Does that implie that if I buy let's say a 450W PSU, it would not fit in my case?
Also, whenever I start my computer, and it has been like that since I bought it actually, in 2004, it goes BRRRRRRR for about 5 minutes as if there was some vibration, and then suddenly it becomes very quiet and stays like that until I turn it off. Is that normal?
However, once it has finished making all it's noise, if I turn it off and restart it, it will not make any excess sound, as if it was still "heated up".
When I open up "My computer", it often takes about 3 seconds before anything appears on the screen and my computer would make some noise, though nothing of the BRRRRR kind, more like sshhhfffffFFFFFffffff... Is that normal?
Also, I am willing to buy some video card between the 6600GT and the X850XT. If I need to change my actual PSU, could you reccomend some PSUs, the cheapest possible in Canada.
