Hello everyone!

First at all, sorry for my bad english, im spanish :p , its my first thread and I wanna know who's better of them for Gaming..

Currenlty i've got an Athlon II X2 (2 cores at 3.0 Ghz), 5850 Radeon, 4 GB Ram and W7 64 bits and I play at 1920 x 1080.

I think my processor is doing bottleneck on 5850..

I play BF3, GW2 at low at 30 - 40 fps.. its something poor :(

Got a motherboard Asus M4A87TD (Only AM3) and the 965 BE it costs 95 € but the A-10 5800k costs 120 € and would have to buy a new MOBO (FM2)

Like 200€ 5800k (120 €) + New MOBO (80 €)

Will costs twice than only 965 BE (95€)

The benchmark of 5800k its far of 965. Its this true?

http://cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html

965 -> 4.202 points
5800k -> 7.914 points

Lawl, better than 2500k o.O?

Please help !!

Since you already have an Athlon, get the 965BE :)  Will surely be a significant upgrade from your athlon.
No point in buying a 5800K, because your would need everything new again. Waste of money.

BUT, first check if your motherboard does support the 125W 965BE. :)

Then wish you all the best. Try selling off your old athlon for a few bucks, after upgrading :)
Can help make your upgrade cost a bit less :)
