Connection btwn Splinter Cell & Prince of Persia ?

I'm half way through Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, and I see Prince of
Persia everywhere. For example, while you're in the train in France, look
at the magazines on the floor, and zoom in with binoculars, and you'll see
the cover of Prince of Persia. There have been several other occasions of
Prince of Persia sightings in Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow. What is the
connection between Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia?

My guess the connection would be that Ubi Soft made both of 'em.

in Game advertising.....Ubisoft makes both of those games..
