Successful POST but a couple of questions:

OK, so I just POSTed my test build, everything seems cool except for two things.

1. Both times I POSTed the CPU fan kind of hesitated. It would start off, then power down, then start up again and POST (with a beep and splash screen). Is this normal?

2. I began to unplug the PSU connectors but I can't seem to get the ATX power out, even when I pull the clamp back. It's in there VERY GOOD. There is no leeway and I'm afraid I'll snap the board. Do I wiggle it? Or what? Is that normal?

1. Yes, that is not unusual.

2. Wiggle...it's tight. Just find a safe spot to hold the MB down.

Is it best to grib the ATX power socket on the mobo itself? I figure that way it won't bend any other part of the mobo.

That's fine if you can get a good grip. Some of those clamps are a pain to release while trying to pull the cable out and hold down the board. Good luck!

Just wanted to say I got it out, but it did take forever.

I feel like every step in my first build is not intuitative. From the CPU crunching (LGA 1155) to the cooler master bracket and back plate to the ATX connector getting stuck to pulling things off the chassis, you have to be so rough with everything.
