Both of the coolers are probably both noisy at max speed, lower speeds they probably won't be loud but if they are you can swap them with other fans.

And they both should give you good temps, the Xigmatek will cool better due to it being generally bigger then the TX-3.

Why it won't do anything but make it run 1c to 3c cooler hardly worth the extra cost of a fan imho

Yes you should be able to but i'm not sure how to.

Bigcyco1, in your first post, it has both the TX-3 and the Dark knight in the graph.
