Im building my first PC and need help on deciding the case. I want something that is black and red themed (i like a "tricked out" look rather than simplistic"), has good airflow, and has a large side panel window to see all of the components, as well as being roomy enough to be able to expand in the future.

I had my eye on the Antec DF-85:

Is this a good choice? Ive seen the HAF series, and the 932 Advanced does not look good to me and the HAF X is too pricey. $150 is my limit.

Thanks for your time

That is black and blue, i would like black and red. Also, i would like a larger window

it seems as though the DF-85 has better cooling capabilities with its 7 fans, and also if i wanted that small upper portion panel window i would have went with the HAF 932.

For your exact specifications I think the Antec might be the closest. Haf X would be great but I understand that extra cost can be a problem. Most of the other close options would require some sort of sacrifice. I'll list a few that aren't perfect matches but are some of the closer options.

Rosewill Thor V2- It fits except has side mesh instead of window.

Azza Solano- Fits except just seems feature-light for the price.

After that I think your best option is to probably buy a case you like that has non-red lights and buy some reds to replace.

Thanks for the suggestions. Ive considered the Azza Solano, but the painted red interior just looks kind of tacky to me

I agree. It looks like a cheaper case than the price suggests.

Ive narrowed it down to those two but im still having a hard time deciding. Im not sure if a few more fans and the interior color are worth spending $50 more on the case..

I don't know how tight your budget is but you seem to like the Antec more and also the Azza has $20 shipping vs $13 for the Antec. You could consider ordering your case from amazon for free shipping but it may not arrive quick enough.

I have amazon prime, which can be applied to both cases so that isint a problem. The Azza also has a rebate which can be a hassle. Im just hung up on the price difference, $90 after rebate vs $140.

I'd recomment Nzxt Phantom with orange trim and one extra red led fan, even though it does not have a window, it looks very nice. Be careful with windows, with the looks of your budget for the case it may get too fausterating to build a really nice looking window case. But I'd recommended the Nzxt Switch 810(not being super nice to Nzxt just they do have case that I like alot) has more than everything you'll wan't on your computer(including window) and you can make it look nice in many ways from simple to complicated. However it is past your budget but there are sales now for $150.
