I think but I read somewhere about the new DDR that is suppose to perform at 533Mhz.

Don't know when it's out but will probably be much cheaper than RDRAM. You will also see it used on graphics cards before the system board.

Memory on the graphics board is faster because the tracelines to the GPU are shorter, you'll still have overhead if the graphics card has to access memory over the AGP bus.

Also be realsitic DDR II is more likely 2 years if not more away. Come on we just got ddr now, it will take a long time for it to get more used widely.

Couldn't find anything on QDR. There were a lot of hits for some US defense project with that acronym :)
