Chassis without 5.25" optical drive bays?

Are there any decent computer chassis without 5.25" optical drive bays? My own searches haven't come up with anything and I'm going to be building a rig that has no need for an optical drive.

  1. I don't think there are any. The minimum size of a case is given by the ATX format plus PSU and that leaves room for at least two 5.25" slots.

These may or may not be what you're looking for, but it's a start.

I haven't found any ATX cases that fit the bill. But this ITX case looks nice.

If I can find a Mini ITX board that supports a higher end CPU this would work great! There seem to be a few guys at Newegg who have already used this case for home servers which is exactly what I'm planning to do. Thanks for the find.
