The stock cooler for my AMD 1055T is pretty loud, so I looked into replacing it with the Hyper TX3. The problem is, when I swapped out my old heatsink for the TX3, the fan did not run. The CPU temperature quickly reached 50°C+ so I turned off my computer to prevent damage. I opened up the case to check the connection and tried again but to no avail. I noticed that the fan would kind of twitch for a second after boot and would return to being stationary. I then pulled out the TX3 and put the stock back in, which works like it did before. My best guess is that the TX3 fan is faulty. Anyone have any ideas?
