I have read on newegg that XFX technical support recieved an F from the BBB. Should i still go with XFX for a power supply or should i get OCZ if their customer support is better????

which one of these are more likely to fail??

XFX are good and made by seasonic however calling OCZ 3rd rate suggests you dont really know your topic

OCZ have been good for a while now.

@ OP

I would get whichever offers the best for my budget customer service isn't a huge worry as either has a low fail rate.

They don't need to be. A failed PSU is a failed PSU regardless of how good someone is at reviewing. Most people don't fail so bad as to kill a PSU that wasn't faulty and if they did, they'd still have similar PSU killing trends along all PSUs unless different PSUs were either bought by more or less tech savvy people on average or truly more reliable. Make your choice there.

You take Newegg reviews over johnny guru?

You really should not be dispensing advice anywhere every thread I see you in your pulling made up facts out of nowhere. Your actually hazardous to people needing help.

The Johnny Guru links didn't say anything to disprove the Newegg reviews nor the other way around, so I'm not taking anything over anything. I'm not pulling incorrect facts.

Right not incorrects facts just things you made up

but OCZ sells at best third-rate PSUs

Yet johnny guru rates those 2 I linked at 9 and 9.5 out of 10? Your idea of 3rd rate is clearly different from anyone else.

I didn't make crap up. Give me one example.

Johnnyguru didn't test a large selection size nor did that site test these PSUs for long periods of time.

I stand by what I said.

I see a very distinct difference in reliability here.

Now if you need me to explain to you why newegg reviews are bad compared to johnny guru's review the you are either a trolling little child unable to admit he is out of depth or just so badly educated and experienced in life that you still think Santa comes down the chimney at Christmas.

That's not an example. That's prior evidence that you can't prove anything about anyway. Offer a better site to prove or disprove my claims, I dare you. Johnnyguru can't do that with such a tiny selection size and short test duration.

Did they test dozens of units from each model? No? Well then, yet another tiny section size that proves nothing. You're on a roll here, huh?

Oh sure, I'm the troll for presenting evidence that you haven't actually managed to disprove at all beyond mocking it and mocking me. Nice logic there.
